I recently purchased the Exo Terra Short All Glass Terrarium and I am absolutely in love with it! As someone who takes reptile housing seriously, I can confidently say that this is the ideal terrarium. It was designed by European herpetologists, so you know it’s top-notch. Plus, the natural background perfectly matches all of my other Exo Terra decorations, making for a cohesive and visually appealing set-up.
Let’s talk about accessibility – the front opening doors are a game changer. Not only does it make maintenance and feeding a breeze, but there’s also a special lock that prevents any escape attempts. And if you have multiple reptiles in one terrarium, you’ll appreciate that the doors can be opened separately.
One of my favorite features is the extra high fixed front window. This allows for thicker layers of substrate for burrowing reptiles or even creating an aquatic section for a paludarium. Not to mention, it’s perfect for mounting an Exo Terra reptile den. And as for ventilation and UV penetration? The full screen top has got you covered.
Last but not least, let’s talk about functionality. The back of the screen cover has 5 closable wire or tube inlets on both sides – perfect for installing Heat Wave rocks, waterfalls, sensors, and more inside the terrarium.
